2004 - Nelson Bay and Wollombi

Bay
Mum and Dad decided that we all needed to
go on a holiday. Dad has had a busyperiod
at work with Christmas and Mum is heading
back to work soon. So it was a great time
for all three of us to go away. I was getting
quite excited thinking of going away. But
at the same time a little nervous - how
was i going to sleep in a strange place?
Would i Like it? So i packed my pram and
we all headed off.
Mum said that the drive would take a while
- as im not sure how long 'a while' is -
they told me i should sleep all the way
through and have some dinner when we got
there. Which I did. I slept the whole way
- over 2hrs I was told!
 I
had a little sleep and some lunch then we
hit the pool. I was the talk of the pool
area in my new pink one peice. The good
thing was that it covered my very daggy
pink water nappy! As you can see from this
photo - i was warming up with a few exercises
with my toys. Mum thought it would be rather
cute pushing me into the corner of the couch.
Was fun for a while until i fell flat on
my face. Dad thought it was the funniest
thing he has seen! The water was fun! Mum
and Dad said that i am a true water baby.
Thats good!
 After
the first day the weather turned nasty.
It was cold and dark. And wet stuff was
falling from the sky. We all went a little
stir crazy stuck indoors for a few days.
We went for a drive to look at all the lovely
scenery. When we came back there was a break
in the clouds and mum and i went for a swim.
Mum made me wear a silly pink hat - all
the other babies laughed at me - but Dad
said that I had to wear it.
All in all the weather made Nelson Bay
a little dull. But it was good to get away.
I didn't sleep very well when we were there
but Mum and Dad kept me entertained.
Wollombi
I wanted to go and visit Grandma and Grandpa
on the way home. They were at Wollombi -
so mum and dad drove me there on the way
home. We spent a few days there. I met Jock,
Roy and Comic. They are nice horses - a
little smelly!
